The human element at the heart of creation

The Boss

Gary Eldridge

Over the years he has worked on an extremely varied range of projects including a bespoke kitchen that has been featured on Grand Designs and he was part of the team that made Jody Scheckter’s outdoor barbecue kitchen in all its curved glory at Laverstoke Park Farm.

More recently he designed and made some large timber architectural structures for the Tree Trunk Trek in the woods at Wakehurst Place; “Kew Gardens place in Sussex” which, along with the Mud Kitchen for the Children’s Heritage Garden were both projects that were as much fun as they were hard work.

But these are just some of the highlights of a career spanning over thirty years.

Mostly he has made kitchens, staircases, front doors, fitted wardobes the odd oak lecturn for the local church, some ash stools for the local pub, along with every other carpentry and joinery project his clients have come up with.

The wife, the personal assistant, and the extra pair of hands

Evie Eldridge

After 15 years of marriage to a joiner and 13 years of working with a joiner, she knows far more about wood, glass, paint, and other materials than she ever imagined.

Most importantly, she answers the phone and emails.
